Welcome to FlierLink, a service of Dhakshin Ventures LLC, respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information through our mobile apps and website.

FlierLink is operated by Dhakshin Ventures LLC, a limited liability company incorporated in the state of Texas, USA. References to “FlierLink”, “we”, “our”, or “us” in this policy refer to Dhakshin Ventures LLC doing business as FlierLink.

1. Information We Collect

a. Information You Provide to Us

We collect the following when you create an account or interact with the platform:

  • Basic Details (Never displayed to other users): Full Name, Email and Phone
  • Username: Chosen by you or randomly generated by FlierLink.
  • Profile Photo (optional): Only if you choose to upload one.
  • Demographics (optional): Only if you choose to update.
  • Travel Preferences (optional): Travel and companion preferences.
  • Trip Details: Itineraries you enter manually to plan or share a trip.
  • Messages: All chat messages between users, stored securely in Firebase.

Note: We do not collect or store your identity, financial information, or address.

b. Authentication Information
  • Users signing up with email must verify their email.
  • Users signing in via Google or Apple are authenticated via those providers.
c. Usage & Device Data

We may automatically collect anonymized data for analytics and to improve the user experience, such as:

  • Device type and operating system
  • Browser version (for web users)
  • In-app behavior (e.g., screen flows, taps)

This information is not linked to your profile.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and improve the FlierLink service
  • Match you with travelers who share your route or trip interests
  • Facilitate in-app communication between users
  • Respond to support requests or investigate safety concerns
  • Monitor usage to prevent abuse or violations of our Community Guidelines

3. What is Publicly Visible

By default, the following are publicly visible to other users:

  • Username: Either chosen by you or randomly assigned.
  • Profile Photo: Only if you choose to upload one.
  • Travel Preferences: Used to help other travelers search or filter travelers.
  • Trip Details: Only when you explicitly share them via a generated public link. The link shows flight information, origin and destination airports, date or date range, and total number of travelers known to FlierLink.

All other details — including your full name, email, and personal identifiers — are never shown publicly.

4. How We Store & Protect Data

  • All chats are stored securely using Google Firebase with strong access controls.
  • Profile and trip data are encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Google’s moderation tools are used to automatically monitor chats for violations, spam, or safety risks.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We may use limited tracking technologies (such as Google Analytics) to improve app functionality and user experience. We do not use advertising cookies or trackers. You may disable cookies via your browser settings.

6. Third-Party Services

We use third-party services only to support the core app functionality, including:

  • Authentication
  • Flight Information
  • Data storage
  • Content Moderation
  • Emails / Notifications

We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain your information as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.

8. Children’s Privacy

FlierLink is not intended for children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If we learn we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights under privacy laws:

  • Access or export your data
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Delete your data

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification or email. The updated date will always appear at the top of this page.
